Let me introduce myself
Hi! My name is Claudia and I'm 30. I've always loved the film industry as well as learning foreign languages, and as I grew up, I realized I wanted them to become an essential part of my future. Where to start, though?
After obtaining my bachelor's degree in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation, I started working as a translator.
In 2018, both by chance and out of curiosity, I joined the fansubbing world. I am a big fan of movies and TV shows and I've always watched them in their original language.
As I started to subtitle, I immediately learnt so many new words and idioms and my interest grew stronger and stronger, and I knew this had to become my job.
That's the main reason why I then decided to attend a Master's degree and specialize in audiovisual translation.
I've now been working with subtitling agencies and YouTube channels for over 4 years and I couldn't be happier!
